Tania’s table

September. Sigh. Fall’s around the corner and my fish share is almost over.
In the great mariner tradition that is fishing, we decided to eat our CSF catch on a boat recently, complete with a harbor cruise and lots of wine. I wanted to call it a floating fish party, but on second thought that didn’t seem like the best idea…
The menu: striped bass tika masala, pollock korma, grilled stuffed haddock, oysters on the half shell, potato salad, tomato pie, corn on the cob, sauteed butternut squash, broccoli slaw, custard pies.
Total fed: 21

wow – nice memories of a perfect fish-dinner in Boston!!
please email me the tomato pie recipe!
did you make the tomato & corn pie from smitten kitchen? it looked so good!!
No, I made traditional tomato pie with vidalia onions. Recipe was from a lovely Southern lady we’re friends with in NC. Apparently, I should write a blog post about it… seems popular.
